A concept. Nothing is offered or sold. No points exist.
For members
What the model would mean for someone who collects points: one balance across programmes, conversion of your own points at published rates, and nothing to install or manage.
One balance
One statement shows every point you hold, in every programme that takes part, together with the rate at which each could be converted today. Your points stay with the programmes that gave them; the statement brings them together in one place.
Converting your own points
You choose the points to convert and the programme to convert them into. Before you confirm, you see the published rate and exactly how many points you will receive. The clearing-house then records the conversion: the first programme debits your account and the second credits your account, in the same recorded step.
Example. You hold 2,000 points with Programme A and 300 with Programme B. At a published rate of 5 to 4, you convert 500 points of A. Your balance becomes 1,500 points with A and 700 with B. The programmes and the rate are illustrative.
You can only convert your own points, into your own account. You cannot send points to another person, and no one can send points to you except a programme that rewards you.
No wallet, no keys, nothing to install
You sign in to your programme as you do now. The ledger runs behind the programmes: you never hold a wallet, a key or a recovery phrase, and you cannot lose your points by losing a phone.
That is one of the clearest lessons from the experiments that came before. Lufthansa Group’s Uptrip asked members to keep its collectible cards in their own crypto wallets, and in September 2026 a guide found no news of its further development.[1][2] Singapore Airlines’ blockchain-based KrisPay, by contrast, carried on inside an ordinary rewards app, Kris+, still running in November 2025.[3][4][5]
What protects your points
- Rates are published before they apply, and a conversion always uses the rate shown when you confirmed it.
- Changes come with notice and never reach back to points already in your account (no devaluation).
- Points do not expire because time has passed.
- If the model ever closed, your points would stay with the programmes that issued them (the wind-down plan).
- Your name and personal details never go on the ledger; it holds account numbers and amounts only (the ledger).
What points are not
Points are rewards. They are not a claim on the custodian’s assets, they pay no interest or yield, and they have no market price. You cannot cash them out, and you never pay for them.
Today
None of this exists yet. No points exist, and there is nothing to join or sign up for. If you collect SwomiBuzz Points, they work as SwomiBuzz describes them; About explains how they relate to this concept.
